Eteocles gets a propler burial from the king but Polyneices however, doesn't. He is left on the field to get eaten by wild dogs or scavenger birds. Antigone asks for help from her sister Ismene, but Ismene doesn't want to in fear of getting caught. Antigone goes and sprinkles dirt on top of Polyneices and goes home. Later a Sentry finds that Polyneices has been buried and tells King Creon. King Creon is angry and finds out Antigone did it. The kings' son pleads with Creon because Antigone is set to marry his son, Haemon. King Creon decides to put Antiogone in a stone room and give her food. She must pray to the gods to help her out. If she can get out she lives. Once Antigone is in her stone room, a blind prophet named Teiresias comes to talk with Creon. He tells King Creon the Gods are not happy because of what he did and he will lose 3 people close to him. King Creon then goes to Antigone's room to find that she had hanged herself with her weddign veil. Next to her was Heamon, still alive. Heamon blames all this on Creon then stabes himself in the side and dies. Once the Queen of Thebes, Eurydice, finds out her son is dead she stabs herself in the heart and dies.
